Leadership

Logan D. Selby, PhD

CEO & Co-Founder

Dr. Logan Selby is a decorated U.S. Army veteran with extensive experience supporting strategic intelligence, special operations, and security missions across multiple global theaters. Throughout his military and national security career, he has operated at the intersection of intelligence, emerging technology, and operational planning, supporting complex missions focused on force protection, situational awareness, and asymmetric threat environments.

Dr. Selby holds a PhD in Information Technology, with research focused on the application of autonomy, edge AI, and intelligent robotic systems for defense and national security operations. His work has centered on advancing real-time collaborative autonomous decision-making, adaptive sensing, and distributed AI capabilities in contested and resource-constrained environments.

Andrew Fast, PhD

Chief Technology Officer

Dr. Andrew Fast leads the development of DataShapes AI edge-native AI capability. Previously, Dr. Fast was the Chief Data Scientist and co-founder at CounterFlow AI (acquired by LiveAction in 2021) and the Chief Data Scientist at Elder Research, Inc., a leading data science consultancy in Charlottesville, VA. He is a frequent author, teacher, and invited speaker on data science topics. Dr. Fast co-authored the book Practical Text Mining which won the PROSE Award in the field of Computing and Information Sciences. His work on analyzing NFL coaching trees was featured on ESPN.com. Dr. Fast received PhD and MS degrees in Computer Science from the UMass Amherst and a BS in Computer Science from Bethel University.

BG Paul Craft, USA (ret.)

As the longest-serving Chief of Cyber and Electronic Warfare for the U.S. Army, Mr. Craft brings 31 years of extensive experience in technical and organizational leadership to the company. He spearheaded the recruitment and training of the Army’s elite cyber forces and he has held pivotal leadership roles at the Defense Information Systems Agency and at U.S. Cyber Command, culminating his military career by directing cyber operations and defense for the DoD's global network across three theaters.
